My P4 is in a Coma!!!

ya i do not.... call me a noob... but usually this happens and it will work after powering on and off... we'll see.. my CMOS battery did click, it just looks loose\...

my cmos is labeled as follows: i are the hypotetical pins

1 i
JP4 i
3 i

also:

JP4 CMOS CLEAR
1-2 NORMAL
2-3 CLEAR

SO HOW DO I ADJUST THE JUMPERS TO MAKE CMOS CLEAR?

You move the jumper pin from 1-2 to 2-3 for 5-10 seconds, then you put them back to 1-2, and put the battery back in.

OK so first you remove the CMOS battery, then you move the pins to 2-3, for 5-10 seconds. Then put it back to 1-2, and reinstall the CMOS battery. That's it.
