My mouse keeps automatically disconnecting...

Whenever I am using my computer, whether I'm just browsing the internet or playing an FPS, my mouse has the tendency to automatically disconnect itself although it is still physically inside the USB slot. then it keeps spamming the "USB disconnect and reconnect" sounds.

It's really annoying and hinders my gaming ability too. Can anyone please help me with this problem? Or is this just a "broken" mouse.

Hello,

Have you tried using a different USB mouse, and if so / if not, does the same happen with other USB devices?

If you're using a wired USB mouse, it's possible that there's a break in the wire somewhere.

If the mouse is not made by a "quality" company, then the mouse wire probably has a break in it. You should just go and buy a better mouse.

Well, I'm pretty sure that a 3 month old Logitech mouse should still be working fine =\...

Whatever, I guess i'll just save up for a new wireless.
