my monitor screen is black after inserting graphics card

I have a proview 19" lcd monitor. here is the product page

I bought a geforce 7600 GT 256 MB and have put it in my computer and connected my monitor to this card using the adapter. But when I start my computer the monitor says no signal even though it seems like everything is working perfectly inside. What do I have to do?

It seems like if I plug the monitor back to its original input then I get the pics but the font is blurred but its absolutely black when I connect it to the graphics card

I have a dell E521 with geforce 6150 LE integrated graphics card, I dont know if I have to disable that before installing that card, but how do i disable the integrated video card
