My flash drive can not be accessed anymore?!

I need your help people...
I have an LG (LSDN-U256) flash memory drive which used to work with me fine but days ago, I tried to delete some folders from it and suddenly an error message poped up saying "can't delete. the device is write protected" [it doesn't have a lock/unlock switch on the edge]...I used to delete from it and worked fine but now i don't know what's going on!

WHAT SHALL I DO? Please help me...

Can you go into My Computer and format it? Can you Access it at all.

Have you attempted to put the LG in another USB port? What type of computer? PC? Laptop? and waht operating system? Are there service packs installed for the OS? The more information you provide the better the trouble shooting.

I tried to access it from My computer to format it, but it gives the same message..i also tried it on alot of laptops and desktops on several USB ports and different OS(windows XP,windows ME).. it doesn't work at all.
