I have a Samsung DVD burner with lightscribe. Here lately it seems to be acting up on me. For example, if I leave a cd or dvd in the drive and I restart the computer, once it gets to the screen where it asks you to boot from the cd, it will check the cd that is in the drive for several seconds before it proceeds. Normally it does not take very long.
Also, right now I am trying to copy a file that is stored on my computer to the drive. The speed is between 200 and 300 kb's a second which is extremely slow. It is currently not even moving.
Wait a minute here, if I send a file to the drive, it's not yet putting it on the drive, right? So does that mean my computer is what is causing it to be slow?
