I am having a similar problem, except that my fans, lights and hard drives all start up normally. Nothing else happens though, my monitor falls asleep after a few seconds, and neither mouse nor keyboard lights turn on. I've tried resetting CMOS, pulled ram, switched video cards and air dusted it out.
My computer wont boot!

If nothing turns on at all its most likely your mother board or your power supply since those are the two components that directly affects all the others.

I just got my computer to work. A friend of mine came over and fixed it. The power button connector and others like hdd lights and stuff weren't connected right. I am installing the OS right now... Tomorrow ill be installing some new games and will try to OC (gonna need some help on that one...lol).
