For defragging, I strongly recommend O&O Defrag. You can download a free trial from their site. Try it out, you'll probably crap your pants after you use it the first time and windows loads in 10 seconds (I don't know, I haven't actually timed it, but it's fast)... I know I did.

i was using the same drivers as i am now, and i just defragged so its good. Ill try that new defragging software and see if that helps, but I kind of doubt it. I think its more of a cpu or gpu issue.

The defrag helped performance, but im still getting horrible frames in the games, nothing has changed in that respect.

maybe it's hardware, make sure the psu is pluged into the gfx card

i reinstalled previous and newer drivers many times, and i checked my molex connector and its fine.
