First I'd like to begin I'm sorry if I'm posting on the wrong forums.

I've had my computer for about 2 months now and everything is fine except for some reason I cannot multi-task, I can't play World of Warcraft, then alt + tab and watch a small little video or download a song or something. I'm pretty sure with the amount of money I spent on my computer I should be able to do this when I was able to do it with my old computer. All my specs from CPU-Z are:

Another thing is my computer takes a long time to boot, like 1 min to 2 mins long.

If anyone can help me I'll greatly apperciate it.

Thanks for your time :)

Is there anything I can do to test something with DMAs or know if they are unbalanced?

edit : opps didnt read bottom

ok.. Mutitasking is near Impossible with games when they are set to run fullwindow.. mostly always.. YOu can try to run WOW in windowed mode if you have that option should take up less resources but..

This is Not a hardware issue.. It is due to the fact most MMORPGS use pretty much ALL cpu resources they can get and a huge amount of VRAM/memory buffer..

the only way you can multitask without extreme lag is to get another PC. Or try mimizing the strain WOW puts on a PC. Minimal Settings etc

Since you have to keep in mind It's still writing to memory and using CPU recources and Very heavy draw from the system..

Things that can be multitasked are stuff that use 10-40% of cpu resources..

Non fullscreen games or fullscreen games that aren't 3d
Videos, MP3 , internet. etc...
