Ok, just got new mobo and cpu. MSI RX480 Neo2 and Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego. The model number for the cpu is "ADA3700DAA5BN". This is the E4 version which is 100% compatible with my mb. Now to the point. Bios is v1.1 (newest).
Installed all correctly...Turned on, tries to boot, then I get an error, "CPU is of unknown revision, Fatal Error, System Hault" something like that lol.
I cannot make it bios, tried resetting cmos, nothing, tried again with removing the battery, nothing. This is a common problem that I hear about on other forums, but none of them have solved theirs so far. Tiger Direct sold the two as a combo, and this is not what I would expect from a compatible combo...Any ideas? Should I go to v1.0 bios?
