MSI Neo 965 mobo bios SOOoooo SLOW!

I have a MSI Neo 965 motherboard, XP itself runs dam quickly to the desktop when the BIOS has finished doing its thing, but the BIOS screen is soooo sllow it checks the memory up2 1gb then displays some usb port list and takes ages to get to the XP loading screen.

Does anyone know how to speed this up?

go into the bios, and just filter through the sections and see if there's anything that has like a check feature or something.

also if you don't have any OC settings try using optimized settings in the bios, that might speed things up.

and you're talking about POST being slow, as in it's slow to boot up to windows, (but just the pre windows loading screen part) and not the bios itself being slow correct?

thats right POST is being slow, the bios is wrkig fine in itself, just takes ages to pass all the checks, ok ill give that a shot thanks

no luck, optimization settings were already on, is it safe to try and skip the memoery test? wher is the memory test normaly located in the bios?
