pc133 should work on pc100 motherboard, but you'll just be operating on what the motherboard can support and that's at the speed of pc100.
You can tell a lot of information about the RAM module by the numbers on the chips. Take a look closely at the RAM and notice on each of the chips are references and digit. If you want to let me have a look at it. Just post it for all 3 stick of RAM you got and I try to identified rather you were rip off or not.
