moving hard drive to new pc

i had a pc which broke. i went to reboot my pc after i went slow and it came up something like c:\wndows\system\config anyway i noticed that the case fan had stopped so i got a new fan before trying anything further. i put the new fan in and then it wouldnt output on the graphics and although the fans started up it wouldnt beep either when started.

anyway got a new pc and decided t transfer the drives accross. i got the c drive working that before displayed the above error. moved all the drives accross which was fine apart from one of the drives. its a samsung 160gb and didnt have an OS on it was just used for storage. its not setected at all by the bios at start up although other slave drives are. im not sure what to do next.

Are the jumpers set correctly for its new location?

Have you checked the power connections and cabling for the drive?

YOu need to be more specific. Ide drives, SATA, numbers of drives and theircable locations and jumper settings (IDE only) would be nice to share or we can't help ya!
