Default mouse problem

ok first off i run

Windows XP home
Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.0GHz
Nvidia Geforce 7100 / nForce 630 i (integrated graphics i believe?)
500GB hard drive

When i play counterstrike source, my mouse lags. Its about 1-2 seconds behind my hand when i play at any resolution above 640*480. I have tried -noforce commands, usbmrs, CPL Mousefix, turning off acceleration in the mouse properties menu, different usb ports. I use some crappy radioshack gaming mouse with horrible drivers that i dont use.

Its a strange problem because it lags only if i play at high resolutions. Graphical settings dont matter, cause if i play at 640*480 with everything on high, it dosent lag. If i play at 1024*768 with all low settings, it lags.

EDIT: and this dosent happen in HL1 games such as CS and DoD

really need help, thanks
