mouse problem

I just bought the Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, brand new. When playing cs:s i get this problem where if i move my mouse fast it like.. stops moving and either goes up or down. ive tried: updating drivers, using no drivers, HL2 -noforce commands (on and off), CPL mousefix (on and off), playing around with ingame settings, and switching usb ports.

help me out !

Have you tried a mousepad? A different mousepad? Not using one? Different surface? Tried it on a different computer?
