I recently got a new wireless mouse - my old one broke - and it all worked okay. Then today, it started not moving the cursor. Left and Right click works absolutely fine. The light on the bottom of the mouse is on as well. I've tried restarting my computer and unplugging the mouse. Still no luck. Also, the touchpad works fine, so its probably not a sensitivity problem.

I probably put this thread in the wrong section, I wasn't quite sure where to put it.

Are you using an appropriate surface? Shiny surfaces or glass usually don't do well with laser/optical mice. Try a mousepad or flat dull surface. Also make sure the receiver for the wireless mouse is not out of range.

Fixed it. I did what I should have done the moment it stopped working. Took the batteries out and put them in the other way round.

On a completely unrelated note, is there a way you can keep yourself logged in on this forum. Because whenever I refresh it logs me out.
