Mouse/Keyboard sticking

My mouse and keyboard like to stick while im playing any game, it for some reason it seems it only happens after my pc is woken up or we from being idle.. its really wierd works fine after though .. like right now my text is lagging but my FPS is plenty to support Mozilla, aim and winamp are the ONLY things running... can anyone help me figure out with problem this is ****ing me off lol
