Default mouse delay

i have a problem where i get nasty mouse delay in source games (specifically counter-strike)

it seems like its only affected by resolution, not my frame rate
im running a e2180 2.0ghz duocore, 2gb ddr2, 7100 onboard graphics

it runs the game fine with graphics on low, but i get mouse delay of like .2-.5 of a second in this game and it seems like its only affected by my resolution. as of now its only playable at 640*480, and every other res causes the delay

The cause is very likely that you're using onboard graphics. Have you tried a driver reinstall or update?

Desktop?? if it is then get a graphics card. onboard graphics usually arent any good for 3d gaming.

There are some really good deals going on with the 8000 series of nvidia cards now.

Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N761-TR GeForce 8600 GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

79 bucks. not a bad deal there

Framerate issues are almost always graphic card problems.
