motherboard is HOT (i think)

i downloaded speed fan and it says that my mother board was 96 degrees centigrade, i thought it was a bug in the software so i downloaded PC Wizard which also says my motherboard is 96 degrees centigrade.

is this normal? it dosnt sound like it is, can someone giv eme any advise on how to cool it down

nope definately centigrade

i just took the case off and toched varios parts of the mobo ( a bit stupid) but it definately wasnt very hot at all

Shut down your computer, let it cool down completely (~30 minutes or so). Then start it up and look at the temps immediately.

left it off for about 45 mins and still the same readings, i got a feeling its a faulty sensor thingy

if it was actually 96 degrees, it probably would not be working right now.
