Mother board...

So, I was unhooking something and didn't even notice the power cable was still hooked up to the psu.

Out of no where the pc came on for like 1 second and then went off. An will not come back on.

Am I safe to say the mother board is done?

I had some simulare misadventures myself in the past.

Unplug the motherboard and leave it for an hour or so (or over night). Remove the BIOS battery too.

Then try booting it up again.


And next time, make sure that your PC is unplugged before working on it again.
