I wasn't quite sure where to post this topic, so it goes here.

Using ATI Tray Tools, I "enabled" Truform, because the new CCC does not allow you to enable it.

From there I started Morrowind using Morrowind FPS Optimizer, a nifty little program that allows you to use Truform, or n-patching, on as many of the models in Morrowind as you like.

It did not work.

I tried the same thing with RadLinker.

Again, it did not work.

My questions are,
Did ATI completely remove Truform functionality from it's drivers?
Is the X850XT not compatible with Truform?
If applicable, what can I do to enable Truform on my X850XT? (Another driver, program to use, etc.)

If you need any more info, just ask.

Thanks for any help,

That is disappointing.

Perhaps someone knows the answer to my first question.

Has ATI completely removed Truform functionality from their drivers? Or did they just remove the option to enable it from the CCC?

If anyone answers, thanks.

No, Truform is supported by very few games due to the performance hit. However, someone made a nifty little program that allows you to utilize truform while playing morrowind.

I know for a fact that this program works, I have used it before on another PC, with a 9800 Pro and Catalyst drivers in the early 5.*s

The question is nolonger trying to get Morrowind to run with Truform.
It is now whether or not truform is supported by (a) Catalyst drivers, or (b) the Radeon X850 series.

If anyone could answer that I would be grateful
