ok, i just turned on my laptop it starts up pretty fine. then once it gets to the loading screen it starts to distort. everything becomes all blurry and stuff. i dunno whats wrong. this has never happened before. do you guys know whats wrong. ill try to show a picture if i can...

edit: now if i open task manager the screen turns into like a checker board. with red/black stripes

Well what kinda laptop and graphics card.

You could fix this, but it would nerf graphics capability's. Also, how many percent (estimate) is the screen covered in checkerboard stuff?
