Turns out I was getting confused about the number of connections and the number of rails. Thanks for the help. I was actually looking at the Corsair TX 750 ($143), as I might upgrade my graphics card in a year or so. I'll let you know what I decide on (or come back for more advice) and weather it fixed the BSODs.
