I have old 13" monitors that still work. How do you ppl destroy monitors like that?

I have monitors from the late 80's that still work, but some of these "newer" monitors have **** in them that aint worth crap.

it's true. old electronics rocked!! I have a stereo receiver from the 70's... a Yamaha Natural Sound...w/ wood trim too! It's the best sounding amp I've EVER heard to's not as powerful as today's amps. but it's been through anything and everything and works like a charm. even has phono input which you don't see on every model these days.

agreed, i'm only 16 and i can see how pathetic the standards are on modern electronics. i have 2x 15" samsung syncmaster 15gle's in my house that are about 10 years old and to be honest they're about the best monitors i have ever seen. they have taken such an incredible amount of abuse in their life and still function perfectly. my friend has gone through 3 monitors on a single desktop in about 1 and a half to 2 years
