Monitor Resolution Troubleshooting

Are they USB or PS/2 keyboards?

if USB, you have to enable USB keyboard use in BIOS (obviously you'll have to use a PS/2 connector one).

WEnt out and got a ps/2 keyboard today, i can now boot into safe mode.

safe mode screen looks fine but when i switch the resolution back and attempt to boot normally i still get a blank screen for everything beyond the windows theme.

(also my monitor says no input if that helps. and yes all of my connections have been triple checked ;D)

What video card do you have? What monitor?

Try plugging one monitor into each DVI or VGA port. Alternate. Try them both. One at a time.
