Default Monitor Off screen

I just go a GeForce FX 5500 128 MB DDR and it works fine, but on my monitor, the screen seems to be a bit off. On the top, there is a spot with nothing, and the screen doesn't show up all the way in the bottom. I've tried to Auto-Adjust with my monitor, but it doesn't seem to work and it doesn't have any other way adjust. What else can I do?

I also just the other day got the GeForce FX 5500 PCI 256mb card and am having this same problem. The bottom quarter of my screen wont display anything and I tried all the obvious solutions, i.e. changing resolutions, changing the vertical display on my monitor etc..

Please help, i want to play COD2 :'(

Do you mean that you stretched out the screen and you cant get it to go all the way to the edges. If you go int oyour gforce settings then advanced then GforceFX then screen adjustment. there are other options there you can tweak.
