Monitor issue plse help

My awesome HPw2207 has a green line going vertical 2 inches from the right and is the width of a hair..

I called HP tech suppot and they wanted 50 bucks to trouble shoot, lol!!

any sugguestions? :freak:

plug it into another computer or input device to eliminate the vid card. Had the same thing recently on my dell 20.1 (except mine were vertical stripes covering 1/3 of the screen and I knew it was dying) and I had to put it out to pasture.

Didn't work, still there.. sigh.. I tried to unplug and power down everything. even hooked the monitor back on the HDMI port and ran it for a few hours.
Then put it back on the vid card and the line still hasn't left.
One bonus, this monitor rotates so the line can be moved to the bottem
Less or more annoying depends how you look at it. :freak:
