Ok,
I have a Xerox XR6-19DW and it doesnt want to display widescreen resolutions..on a different cable because there is one missing pin, but no loss in quality or picture....
Basically, with the OEM cable, it will allow me to display its max res = 1440x900 but with a 12' belkin svga, it wont....during boot that is.
If i use the old cable, turn it to 1440x900 and swap out the cable, it works fine.
My question is -> Is there any way to force windows or the video card to transmit at the setting regardless of what it wants to do.
I have tried PowerStrip with no success, unless there is a hack.
Could someone help me...
