I've just extended the distance of my monitor by adding another vga cable. Now for some reason the top left corner is 'vibrating' for lack of a better word, ie the picture isnt still. I tried taking away the vga cable and just using the original cable but its having the same problem. Can anyone advise?

I remember a few years ago I was having a similar problem with the top right corner. A friend of mine went into Properties from the desktop and did something there to fix it. I dunno if this is a similar issue?

Thanks folks
Dan

Re:

Hello,

Try lowering or highering the refresh rate of your monitor. Go to Control Panel > Display > Settings Tab > Advanced Button > Monitor Tab...and change the Screen refresh rate.

that did it, thanks! i changed from 72 to 60. this seems to have created another problem with my monitor that i cant seem to place exactly, things seem too bright and the refresh rate is a bit slower. but lemme keep it like this for a bit and then change it if need be.
