I have been planning on buying this mobo but it has been brought to my attention that if Iuse double sided RAM then I wont be able to use the full 8GB capacity of the RAM.
Here is the mobo: GA-EG41MF-US2H (rev. 1.3) - GIGABYTE
I have had a quick look on the web and seem to have gathered that double sided RAM is older RAM and the way you can tell if your RAMis double sided is just by looking to see if there are chips on both sides of the RAM stick.
Can you either confirm or deny this, as it would really **** me off if I bought this mobo and found out I couldn't use all of the 8GB of RAMit was advertising.
