Default missing HD space?

No this is not the usual "oh dell advertised this as 80gigs but its only 72" things. WinXP home btw

I put my old HD in a new build. As most of you know this means reinstalling windows. It supposedly deleted everything I left in My Documents. But when I check available space, it's still missing the same amount of space. I check the folder and it says its 0 bytes, and when I try to access it, it says access denied.

So are my things there? Accessible? and where the F--- is my free space.
