Mic problems. My own voice is coming through speakers...

This didn't happen until recently. I'm not even sure what I fiddled with, i was fixing something so fraps recorded my sound. Now whenever I talk in my mic it comes out through my speakers as well, and i hear a soft hissing sound as if theres some sort of sound channel open.

What do I fix? what do I mute? I'm using realtek 5.1 sound card, and i have latest drivers.

I also have Realtek HD Audio Manager...

It's so annoying, i cant figure out what to mute.

AHH HA. in the Realtek audio manager go to playback settings, and mute the Microphone level. Just take note that the settings you are looking for are not in the recording mixer, they will be in the playback area the same section that controls your speaker volume. There will be a slider there for the mic. Maybe called PINK Jack rear or front also.
