Mic Problem

My sound driver, SoundMAX, has been disabling my mic lately by changing a setting called "Front Panel Microphone" to on by itself.

I went to their website and I think it's a setting for using a microphone in a usb port on the front of your computer. I also emailed them a while ago, but haven't got anything back yet.

If anyone knows a way to fix it, your help would be appreciated.

if it's onboard audio, you may have to set jumpers on the motherboard
