Messed Up HD

Hey every one!!!

Ok, my friends pc just messed up and stuff. Turns out its his HD

well we took it out and are trying to pluge it into a new PC and take his stuff off

my PC sees it but when i try to open it, it says "F:\ is not accessible
The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"

is there any way that i can try fix this? thanks

Well, I dont think you can really fix it, but you could prehaps "aquire" a program such as norton ghost and copy the data over to another media.
