Default Memtest, or Memtest86?

Which one is it? Until last night I was under the impression they were the same program and some people just didn't feel like typing out the '86', but when I googled it up to download it I got 2 different programs, Memtest which runs while in Windows, and Memtest86 which boots off of a floppy. Which one is it?

Since it seemed like less work, I ran Memtest(not 86) all last night, woke up this morning and it tested over 8,000% with no errors, not that I expected any.
