I think I might have Ram problems so I decided to run memtest86+ v1.7 for my first time. So I followed the instructions, downloaded the bootable cd iso, unzipped, burnt to cd, set bios to first boot from cd and.....my comp booted from hd and up popped windows.

So then I disabled my hdd and I just got the reboot and select proper boot device....blah...blah....blah....and press any key.

Must have done something wrong burning it?

what do you mean by unzip? it should have downloaded as a .iso you burn this as an iso cd using a cd burner app such as nero.

When you download the file, it is zipped, you have to unzip it to open it. I figured it out, I burned a regular data disk rather than copying an ISO image.
