Memory Failure at bootup

After taking our a stick of ram to show someone what exactly it looks like, and replacingi, upon bootup i get this message "the amount of system memory has changed. if you did not change your memory...to resolve this issue, try to reseat the memory." Now I have seen on the net people that have gotten his message, but hey have an option to push F1 or F2, I don't. Any suggestions?

.... sorry didnt read it right. Try reseating it and make sure that you are putting it in the right configuration. Also you can try taking out the cmos battery to reset the bios.
