So I'm happily playing an online game I like and I get the ever lovely BSOD.
Whenever I usually get BSOD I just google the driver name and reinstall w/e it is and that usually sorts it out.
However lately I've been getting a stop error without a driver message
Stop 0x0000008E - which after Googling and sending the error report turns out to be a memory problem. Windows website directed me to use its Memory Diagnostic tool so I had a look at that and honestly, I had no idea what to do.

Was wondering if anyone could help me out with an easier solution to try and figure out what went wrong, or maybe an easier guide to using that tool
Thanks in advance.

do you use Vista?

if so, save any work first then...

type in "memory" in the start menu search bar

When the program starts you have two options: Restart now and check for problems or Check for problems the next time I start my computer. choose restart now

let it restart, something like this should come up

just let it run it's course and if there are errors found, there will be a pop up window upon restart

Sorry I use XP >_<
Whats the .exe of that program? Couldn't I just run it through the run command? Or is it only Vista?
