Medion Composer 5100 powerup issue.

I have a Medion Composer 5100 Pentium4 3ghz, and im running windowsXP pro.
Anyhow, when i press power button it starts up for 2 seconds, shuts down, then restarts 5-7 seconds later and remains powered on and all fans work, i can hear the hdd making noise, but nothing ever pops up on screen, just remains blank. It never did this double startup thing before. Could it be my power supply? i dont even get any bios warning beeps. Can someone please help me with this issue? thank you.

Sounds to me like this might be caused by dust build-up.

if you're getting power then it isn't a psu issue. most likely its a motherboard issue or cpu issue. I would lean towards a CPU issue as usually when there's a failed overclock (i know you haven't oc'ed it most likely) it will shut down and restart itself to correct clock changes. so it might be a burned out cpu or a burned out mobo. pop open the case and check the mobo and see if there are any blown caps or anything.

also take out the hdd's, ram and optical drives and see if that gets you anywhere.
