MAJOR Help needed with a video card

I'll look them up in a second but do you think that could be the reason why two different video cards did not work on three different computer all from different manufacturers?

There has to be something else. I tried two different cards, albeit used, on three different motherboards!

Okay, after reading this, it leads me to this question... Are you using the same monitor for all of these tests? If so, logic would deduce to check the monitor itself.

That's logical ..
Some old monitors cann't be seen by video cards so the video card won't work & the motherboard will swich to the onboard vga automaticlly ..
however, try to disable the onboard vga controller from the bios .. this should force the using of any video card installed ..
NOTE: If it doesn't work you will need to rest the bios to enabel the onboard vga controller !

I'll think in more options ..

regards
