Default Low FPS on High end gaming PC?!

Hi guys,

I am having trouble with my self build gaming PC.
When playing games I have low fps, I have a feeling I lose a lot of performence somewhere and I donīt know where it is coming from or how to fix it.

For exemple CSGO: when I play 1920x1080 and settings all low, Gsync off. I only reach around 120/140 fps. This isn't even enough for my 144HZ monitor.

As far as I know I should be getting way more fps with my build.

I recently updated my bios, installed latest chipset driver, and I am using NVIDIA Geforce to keep my GPU updated. I also tweeked some settings on NVIDIA Control Panel but that is only giving me 20+ FPS.

Would be awesome if you guys could give me some tips to fix my problem.
If you need more information please ask me

My build:

Processor AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight-Core Processor 3,6Ghz

RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX - DDR4 32GB

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 12GB (driver version:23.21.13.8813)

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 15063), 64-bit

Motherboard/Driver X370 / BIOS F6

Power Corsair RMx Series RM750x

Cpu Cooler Corsair Hydro Series H115i extreme performence liquid cpu cooler

overlay MSI Afterburner in csgo in attechment

CPU bottleneck, overclock it and make sure your RAM is over 2400.

Thanks for response, but isn't my RAM over 2400?
And any tips on how to overclock my CPU?

If you slapped the rig together without adjusting it would default to 2133. Go into your bios (not their software in Windows) and double check RAM speed. Also post the model of your motherboard and the speed of your RAM (what the RAM box says it should be). We can go from there.

What my RAM says on the box:
32 GB: 4 x 8 GB - DIMM 288-PIN - 3000 MHz / PC4-24000 - CL15 - 1.35 V - not-Buffered - not-ECC

See more details in the pictures shown below. Hope that will give you more info.

I will now try to change the RAM speed to 3000MHz!

Try going up in steps. So start at 2400, 2666, 2933 etc or whatever the options are for your board. Pay attention to FPS and GPU usage for each step.
