I just reformatted the system today, after removing my 36.7GB WD Hard Drive because it seemed to be bad. Anyways, I reformatted everything on my 200GB Drive, and re-installed the OS, updated drivers ect... The only thing I installed was Battlefield 2. Other than that and a few old files which I saved, I havent installed anything. I checked the harddrive disk space, and im getting 116GB's left of a total 186GB. That means 70GB's disapeared somewhere. The files I saved and BF2 should only total near 6GB's. I know windows doesnt take up that much space. So whats eating it all? Is there a way to check how the space is being used? My Specs are listed below.

system restore just after he formatted his computer?

the PF has been set to 70,000mb, haha, put a few too many zeros on it.

waynejkruse just as funny as folder sucking disk space ha ha hehe were you an admin on the jinx web site

PF can't go that big, maybe its his porn stash..... You can use the file search built into windows to search for big files. There are programs out there that will summarize foldiers on a hard disk, but I don't know any off hand, so you'd have to search for it yourself. Might want to try disk clean up.

he forgot about the porn

maybe it is disk indexing
I guse just open windows explorer and start right clicking folders and then click properties.

look in:
C:\windows\Temp
C:\documents and settings\[user name]\local settings\temp
C:\documents and settings\[user name]\local settings\temporary internet files\content.ie5
