Don't really know if this is in the right section tbh but anyway.
I recently bought a new graphics card (GeforceFX 5200 PCI), installed it and everything seemed to be working fine. That was until I started and online game of CS: Source and after about ten seconds the sound completely cut off and the only way I could get it back on was to reboot the machine. It happens every time I play CS and it only seems to be happening with this programme.
I am not really sure whether I have a conlict somewhere or whether the sound card simply can't handle CS. I never played CS before with the sound card so I wouldn't know.
The sound is an SoundMAX integrated Audio. I've updated the drivers for both the Graphics and sound card but still the same problem.
My Spec is ..
E System E101
AMD Athlon 3000+
ECS 761GX-M 745 Motherboard
512 RAM
GeforceFX 5200 PCI
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
