Default Losing my head with hdd

I'm heve a dreambox wich is a sat reciever wich runs tuxbox linux.

I had a samsung sp0802n 80gb hdd working good in my dreambox 7000.
Tryed to install also a Cf and when I was trying to format Cf, dream by mistake formated my hdd.

afterwards this hdd was reported to be only 226 mb (size of cf) and could never more be recognized as hdd in dreambox.

I could recover hdd original size by formating it with windows xp and its working great as master or slave and with windows xp instaled in it as boot os.

Also did run Samsung error dettection utility and didnt find any error. I even did a low level format.

But if i plug it to dreambox, dreambox keep saying it doesnt have an hdd.

If i atach another virgin hdd it's recognized

i'm realy losing my head with this problem
does anyone have a sugestion what it can be?
