Looking for some bios help

I couldn't get it to do squat, I had all of the hard drives un plugged, so that only the flash drive would be available, and it would be drive A i suppose, but it couldn't find anything in drive A, it just highlighted drive A and sat there, I had the Bios file named 1204.BIN, and I just formatted the USB drive in FAT32

Hard drive won't be "A:" though, that's reserved for floppy drive. Guess it's not recognizing, at this point I'm fairly out of ideas :(. I'll try doing more research though, hope someone can come in and help at this point lol.

You need to have at least 3 files on your pen drive:

1. autoexec.bat to boot your pen drive
2. *.exe to run the update process
3. *.rom to update the BIOS to new version.

* any filename that the manufacturer gives you.

I think i was in the update bios menu, but it didn't work

I got an Idea, maybe i can put a copy of windows xp 32 bit on a random hard drive, install it, and use the ASUS bios upgrade utility that they provide, it might work on XP 32
