Wink liberating freshman laptops

Greetings. I will make this short. The freshmen at my high school got laptops, they're actually kinda decent, i5 sandy bridge, 4 gigs ram, h67 mobo, graphics are ok, great deal since they got them free. Problem is the school bloated them a bit and locked the BIOS as to keep any fun from happening. If i were to unlock the BIOS on their PC's, what would be the easiest and most effective way to do it?

I was thinking a firmware update/ re install or pulling the battery for a few seconds. if nothing works we could always try craking the password-- we have access to a few i7 machines we can cluster

Sorry, but we can't help you do this. Security was put there for a reason; we can't help you break it (against the rules on the forum). You'll have to look elsewhere to figure out how to do it.

+1, we can't help you. We can not help you crack a school computer.
