Lg L1917s Tft Screen video playback problems

hi, im having a problem when playing any kind of video on my computer ever since i bought a LG L1917S TFT SCREEN 19 FLATRON. the videos come out slightly pixelated and the quality is therefore not very good especially when you turn the brightness up you can notice them. ive tried updating the drivers, getting old drivers updating the BIOS and it still happens. changed the settings in the graphics card options such as image quality etc and it still happens. my graphics card is Geforce FX 5200 and have an ASUS P4P800-S motherboard on Windows XP PRO. can any1 help???????

help plz, im thinking its a graphics card problem and might end up buying another one but i need to see what the problem really is first..
