I have an unusual problem. I need to shutoff and then reapply AC power to LCD monitors while they are attached to operating PCs. I've tested systems with LCD monitors with VGA interfaces. The monitors always seem to come back up fine. This is not necessarily true with monitors with DVI interfaces. One I tested when AC power was removed and reapplied video display did not come back (monitor displayed "no input signal"). Is there an inherent synchronization problem with shutting off and then reapplying AC power to monitors with DMI interfaces?
