Default LCD Monitor

I have a 22" dell lcd that after running for about 10 mins, it's back lights turn off and stay off until the monitor is turned off and then back on and then they stay on for a second or two and go back off.
Anyone have any Ideas about this?

Yes, I think know what might be the problem...
It sounds like your LCD backlit light is having a problem initalisizing when being booted up and staying on afterwords.
What you can do is either take this to a DELL store and have them look at the back light and make repairs by replacing that part or take it to a shop and have them do it.
It will probably run you near about 40.00 bucks for the repairs since it should be fairly simple to fix.

Agreed, you probably need to replace the backlight.
