LCD and CRT question

Soviet Era, American Made CRT = 25-40 yrs
Japanese/Asian Made CRT = ~9 yrs
LCD = ~3-6 years (depending on brand and make)

Thanks for the numbers. I have a Dell CRT, bought about 4 yrs ago...think it will last about another 5 yrs?

Just bought a Viewsonic LCD, will that last about 6 yrs?
