i have tried installing realtek, and it installs, but doesnt end up in the hardware section.

The pictures are quite small, but the second one is the hardware section, with the usual,. video and audio codecs etc, just need help sorting this out once and for all.

please help!!!

The pictures are way to small to really tell what's going on.

Also what is the problem here, are you trying to install sound drivers to get your sound to work, however the drivers don't save?

Could you link to full size pictures? Don't imbed them but a hyperlink would be helpful.

Go right click "My Computer" > "Manage" > "System Tools" >"Device Manage"
Do you see any yellow question marks on any of the sound hardware?

Is this onboard sound that you are using...if it is, is the sound enabled in the bios?
Did you try restarting your computer after installing the drivers?

EDIT: Are you sure you have the correct drivers?

Nope, no yellow question marks, been through all of this on another topic am afraid. I'm now on the verge of throwing this PC out of the window.

Hokay? uno, dos, trese... ^^^

I have installed the realtek drvier, and it installs, but doesn't show up however in the hardware section fo the sound video and audio device manager in the control panel, hence the images above saying, no device installed. Comprende?

I really am getting frustrated, and no my friend, i don't have a clue whether the right drivers are being installed.

My computer motherboard is new, and is a PC CHIPS one, and i think the motherboard is an SiS-707 motherboard make model. I'm really not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[I went by the SIS chipset from your other thread and found the mobo on Neweggg. that let me see what your audio chip is.]
